Here's a recap of what we discussed during last night's guild meeting.

Resolving Conflicts
There has been some friction between a few members this past week. They have been resolved, but to help avoid further conflicts we discussed that if someone is bothering a member or has crossed a line while joking around, the offended member ought to speak with the other member privately.

Sometimes while joking around we don't notice or we misinterpret the other's attempt to get us to stop. Privately messaging someone and telling the person to stop or that they've gone too far should be enough to show the person that you are serious and that they need to stop what they were doing.

The other side of the coin is that members must speak up for themselves. We are adults and ought to settle our conflicts as such.

Most conflict between members can and should be resolved though private messages. If after several attempts the person still doesn't get it, then others can be brought in to get the message through.

Upcoming Guild Activities
Now that many of us are reaching 80, some members may feel that they have less to do. The thing is, at lvl 80 the game shifts towards more group-centric play. Besides dungeons, WvW, and sPvP tournaments, we can also work together to do map completion and gear farming. I'm also open to hear about any events the guild would like to have.

We'll be setting up weekly "raid" nights. One for exporable dungeons and another for WvW. We'll have more as needed. Impromptu guild runs are always welcome and encouraged. These "raid" nights are for those who wish to master the game's toughest PvE content or be part of a battle-hardened group of WvWers.

In the future, we'll see if we want to get involved with WvW alliances and server politics.

Recruitment
We'll be recruiting new members for our guild... but slowly. We've been pretty exclusive after our days in FeelRO and we have certain standards. That is why we won't be taking in mass recruits. The general idea is that we'll take in 1 or 2 recruits at a time, have them fill out a form, and see how they are for a week or two. We get to see what they are like in-game and on TS, and we decide if they are a good fit for us. Having more quality members is a great way to increase our guild's overall strengths and expands on what we can do together.

Guild Officer Position
Courtney has applied for the Guild Officer position and I'll be going over her responsibilities and what we'll expect from her. She'll undergo a probationary period before it's official.
